japan

Hi my name is Jim,

I made this page to tell you about how I learned to speak Japanese in only 3 months, with out any hassle. I’m not exactly a linguistics professional but learning Japanese was actually easy and most importantly allowed me to go on my vacation this summer.

This Is Where I Stayed On My Japan Vacation

Now that I’ve learned Japanese without attending any real classes, all my friends and relatives are asking me how I did it. I figured it would be a lot easier to share my story on this page and show everyone how I learned Japanese fast in only 3 months. Learn how I did it.

Just a few months ago, I was looking around at places to go this summer on vacation when I stumbled upon a sweet deal on flying to Japan. The price was right and I was so excited, but then I realized that I don’t even know the language.

My buddy that had already taken a trip to Japan told me that hardly anyone speaks English and I needed to learn Japanese fast if I wanted any chance of making conversation. I was a little nervous, but only collecting my thoughts I knew there had to be a way to quickly learn Japanese before I left to go on my trip.

My initial thought was to take Japanese language lessons at a local community college, so I signed up and started attending night classes. A few weeks went by and I still didn’t know hardly anything about the language. The teacher kept going on and on about the basics instead of just teaching us the proper vocabulary (she kept trying to reinvent the wheel…).

I Used This Course To Learn Japanese Fast

I’m usually a quick learner and this Japanese language school was just not helping me at all. After a whole month of going to the class, I still couldn’t even say basic phrases. I was NOT happy at all, but what were my alternatives? Personal Japanese teachers were way too expensive for my budget, and these night classes were simply not working out.

I started to do a little research online and apparently there are hundreds of people in my exact same situation. So I thought… maybe I could somehow take Japanese grammar lessons without having to learn a whole language over again, at least then I could still go on my vacation this summer. So I surfed around the Internet and found tons of people selling all kinds of Japanese language lessons.

Long story short, I ended up wasting money on a few different online Japanese language lessons courses, until I found this really cool course called “Rocket Japanese”. Not only would it teach my all the words I needed to know on my trip, but it also offered an on going training program so I could learn more and more each month (even after my vacation is over).

After I gave in and purchased “Rocket Japanese”, everything else was easy. I just sat back and watched a few videos, and before I knew it I was speaking Japanese like a professional. I called my buddy up and told him how easy it was to learn Japanese using this course and apparently it worked for him too. I truly believe that I would still be stuck at Japanese language school if I didn’t find this online course. That’s why I wrote this page.

You can get more information about the specifics at: http://www.rocketjapanese.com/

There site will explain it a lot better than I could, so I’m not even going to bother trying.

I hope this helps you! (it sure helped me)

P.S. My trip to Japan was SO MUCH FUN! If you’re considering a vacation spot this summer I highly recommend taking a trip to Tokyo!

Japanese Yen

What is the correlation (or connection) of the Japanese YEN and NASDAQ?

I am a new investor. Some of the investment messageboards (in light of the recent Wall Street crisis) suggest that when the Yen goes down in value-the NASDAQ moves up. And the other way around. Is this true? ONLY EXPERIENCED INVESTORS PLEASE RESPOND! Thanks

Right now, everyone is concerned about “the carry trade”, borrowing in a low interest rate currency, like the yen, and buying other assets (like US stocks). A strengthening yen (which means fewer yen to purchase a dollar) is being taken as a sign that people are unwinding the carry trade, hence selling stocks.

This may be an actual relationship; however, it is at best a temporary relationship, so don’t think you can use this in the long-term.

Good luck.

Japanese Shoes Japanese Shoes
How do I let my parents let me wear a pair of unique shoes?

I’m a guy, and the other week, I ordered a pair of unique Japanese shoes with a split-toe. When my family was going to the resturant, they saw them and said I looked ridiculous and told me to change into something else.

Well, I’ve got several pairs of unique shoes (Japanese shoes, moccasins, etc). I would really like to get some use out of them, but I’m worried my parents will say I look ridiculous

How can I wear the shoes?

i dont really no about the japanese shoes but i wear moccasins all the time. my cousin says how ugly she thinks they are, but i look the look and a lot of people from my former high school wore them anyway. i say wear what you want. although sometimes certain things do ridiculous and some things look really good, just dont let people discourage you if thats what you like
