What is a good Japanese-English English-Japanese dictionary to use if im learning Japanese?

Im learning japanese and im looking for a good dictionary to use. NOTE: it must have a Japanese-English section.

Any recommendations?

Collins do a good selection on dictionary’s.

I have a French, Spanish and Italian dictionary’s from them and they are all in different sizes and are very clear and useful.

You can find them from any good book store. Go to a big one for a big selection or look on-line.

Good Japanese-English electronic Dictionaries?

Anyone know of any good Japanese-English electronic dictionaries out there? Something that can translates kanji to english, easy to use, has example sentences and price around $200?
Is that even possible? Links would also be appreciated. Thanks!

Besides dictionaries and phrase books, is it possible to find Japanese books written in both Kanji and Romaji?

I cannot read Kanji.

What about Japanese books written in Romaji alone?

Unless they are actually meant for Japanese learners, then probably not.

If you can read hiragana and katakana, though, then there are book written with kanji, but with furigana (little hiragana by the kanji telling you the pronunciation) as well.

The problem with stripping away kanji and having only romaji is that many words are pronounced the same, and the kanji is where the meaning cones from.
